In the summer of 2012, RANT gave their first performance as a quartet in East Church, Cromarty (www.eastchurchcromarty.co.uk). Less than a year later, fuelled by a mutual love for the church’s acoustic, they returned to the Black Isle to make this, their first recording. With the expertise of engineer Iain Hutchison this music was recorded on 11th & 12th of May 2013. The beautiful 700 year old church and its sound are at the heart of this recording.
